Climate Tech Innovation Hub 9Zero Signs up for 350 California

Second new tenant for Class A building in last 30 days  


The Swig Company and SKS Partners have signed a second new tenant for 350 California. The companies announced that 9Zero, a digital and physical hub for climate tech innovation, led by entrepreneurs Duncan Logan & Matthew Joehnk, has signed a full floor lease (16,784 sf) and will occupy the 4th floor.

Earlier this month, local affordable housing developer and non-profit BRIDGE Housing signed a lease for the entire 16th floor at 350 California.

“9Zero is launching a physical and digital innovation hub globally to accelerate climate change innovation, and it all starts here in San Francisco. When we debut later this year, hundreds of climate tech organizations can come together to harvest the connections, talent and capital needed to successfully tackle climate challenge head on,” said Duncan Logan, 9Zero’s co-founder and CEO. “To lead the climate revolution, we knew we needed a strong presence in this dynamic, innovative city, and we couldn’t be happier with the sustainability pedigree of 350 California and its owners, as well as the location and amenities our team and members can enjoy,” he added.

With sustainability being core to 9Zero and other tenants’ corporate missions, 350 California stood out as an ideal location. An extensive renovation, including numerous sustainable features, was completed in 2020. The building has LEED Gold certification and has been Energy Star certified since 2000. 350 California has a 100/100 Walk Score and a 100/100 Transit Score, according to the Green Building Information Gateway (GBIG). In addition to a large, open ground-floor lobby, there is an expansive, wraparound mezzanine featuring a conference center, a game room, common lounge areas, a kitchen, and a living (green) wall.
